Sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle & bustle of life that our days become routine. Everything we do seems to become automatic; from the time we get out of bed in the morning to when we leave the house and drive to work. As a result, we never really live and enjoy the present moment, which is the only place where life is happening.
Self-check: Do you appreciate waking up in the morning? Do you notice how you feel in your body, your thoughts, the smell of your coffee?
I invite you to bring awareness to your day, connecting to the light of the Sun in your heart when you get up in the morning. If you are wanting to make a change in your life, perhaps for better health, more peace or prosperity then you need to start changing something you do daily. Tuning in every morning with this simple and efficient exercise below will leave you feeling connected to the natural flow of life.

- Sit down comfortably either cross-legged on the floor feeling your sit bones connect with Mother Earth or on a chair, feel your feet flat on the ground.
- Lengthen your spine, relax your shoulders and feel your crown reaching towards the sky. Your hands are comfortably resting on your knees.
- Start to visualise the SUN shining above you, infusing you with vital life energy & vitality. Breathe into this space of pure white light and feel this protective shield around you.
- Breathe deeply and slowly in and out through your nose. With each inhalation you are gathering energy from the Earth, filling your belly & lungs with air. Hold the breath for a short moment allowing that energy to circulate your lungs and renew every part of your being.
- With each exhalation you are letting go of everything that no longer serves you: any disruptive thoughts, worry, fear or anxiety. Breathe it all out.
- Breathing in relaxation. Breathing out tension. Repeat.
- Feel the Sun radiate and this energy permeate your entire being, bringing life & light to every cell and organ, allowing the solar energy to melt away any concerns...
You may do this exercise for as long as you like, I recommend at least 3 complete rounds of deep, conscious breathing. If you breathe consciously, everything else flows.
To end: inhale and sweep your arms out to the sides and up & shake out your wrists.
